PrizeForge Self-Funding Terms

Support for multiple overlapping Streams is coming. The purpose of our first Stream is to fund PrizeForge itself, the PrizeForge Self-Funding stream.

These terms build on top of our general crowdfunding terms and the more specific terms of the current version of Elastic Fund Matching.

Authorized Use of Funds

PrizeForge has not yet developed several of our most critical planned features:

We need these features and others. By enrolling in PrizeForge's Self-Funding stream, you authorize Positron to use matched funds to accelerate the development of PrizeForge according to our best judgement. The Social Decision process in effect is therefore ad-hoc, meaning "no process", so we just have to talk to people and work harder.

Our Commitment and Guarantees

We have a vision. The economics of today cannot reach many things that need to happen. The willing funds exist. The means of their flow do not. Based on our success at enabling finance to flow into where it is needed, we personally expect to benefit from our impact, improvements to the world we live in.

We believe there is an opportunity to create production finance solutions for a whole lot of things. We are deeply incentivized to put every available dollar directly into developing PrizeForge. Founders and early hires will be selected for people who want to invest their time and effort into this company to make the vision real. This keeps cost low and value high.

We want to bring PrizeForge to you as fast as possible, with as much quality and capability as possible. We want PrizeForge and Positron to be great brands that make the company a joy to work at and to work on. We want to like what we build and what our services are used to enable building.

Future Business Models

As soon as it is viable, we will switch over to a regular fee based model. This means we get paid based on how much revenue we can drive into other value creator's hands. People may want us to go faster. Our platform will be a useful tool of communication. This stream will remain open.

We view ourselves as a sales services company, like a payment processor with more kinds of processing. When some people make things and other people buy it, we provide services that facilitate transactions and finance structures between them that connect complex value at long ranges.

Down the road, we expect to increasingly diversify into more complicated finance instruments and act on behalf of groups of users. These kinds of value-add extend into many markets, and so we're confident that it will remain our best interest to make this service as excellent as it can be for a long time.
